Five Aspects of Masculinity for Young Men is a shorter, youth version of Five Aspects of Man. Although designed for high school, this course can also stretch down to the mature junior high boy, and up to the unmarried college man who wants a streamlined introduction to the Aspects material.
Youth aspects are the same as for the Five Aspects of Man, with emphasis on a boy's passages from dependent to decision maker, provider, protector; from fool to wise man; and from follower to leader, representing God and His masculine roles.
This course is organized around five great pillar truths from Scripture which tell us what masculinity is from God's viewpoint. We have named these aspects of masculinity Lord of the Earth, Husbandman, Savior, Sage, and Glory of God. We study each aspect three times. First, we examine what God created this aspect to be. Second, we study the ways in which sin breaks and perverts this part of masculinity. Third, we see how Christ restores this aspect through His saving work.
