Gayle Haggard is the wife of Ted Haggard, who is the president of the National Association of Evangelicals and the pastor of the 9200 member New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As Director of Women's Ministries, Gayle oversees over 100 women's small groups. In recent years, she has coordinated the National Day of Prayer event in Colorado Springs, helping to make it into one of the largest annual celebrations in the nation. Pastor Ted and Gayle have been married for 25 years and have 5 children.
